Happy Easter

Hey everyone,

I hope you all enjoyed this week’s classes.

Thank you for the amazing response to my first workshop. It was fully booked in just 48 hours! If you missed out and would like to join, let me know and I'll add you to the waitlist. I’d also love to hear if you’d be interested in more workshops, as I’m hoping to make them a monthly event. I’m having so much fun planning. I’ve already started buying all the goodies to hand out at the workshop!

March 2026 has been my best month in business to date! I earned nearly as much in one month as I did in my whole first year of business, which is insane. Feeling very proud of my business journey and grateful for all of you supporting it.

Ishvara Pranidhana

Ishvara Pranidhana (pronounced ish-va-ra pra-need-ha-na) is our fifth and final Niyama of yoga. It translates to letting go or surrendering to the divine. Whether this divine is universal consciousness or your own particular beliefs, it’s about learning to trust the process of life. And surrendering doesn’t mean giving up; it’s about releasing control of things we cannot control - letting go of outcomes, expectations, and self-judgement.

Intention: I release the need to control and trust the process.

Wrapping up the Yamas and Niyamas series

I hope you’ve enjoyed the 10 lessons we’ve done covering these yogic principles: Yama (external restraints) and Niyamas (internal observances). It just goes to show that the physical practice (asanas) of yoga is only the tip of the iceberg. Even if you haven’t practised any poses one day but were able to speak to yourself kindly (Ahimsa) or become more disciplined in things that make you feel better (Tapas), you are still practising yoga!

Class update for next week – Wednesday midday

As mentioned previously, there will be no classes on Monday, 6th April, as I am unable to hire the Woollard Centre on bank holidays. Anyone on a block who attends the Monday class will have it extended by an additional week to make up for it.

I will be teaching a Wednesday midday class on 8th April, 12–1 pm, as a one-off to give a midday class option that week. Here's the link to book:

For those who attend the evening class, I also teach on Wednesday and Thursday evenings if you’d like to join one of those instead. It’s a great way to connect with new people in the community.

I’ll be back teaching Monday classes from Monday, 13th April, so be sure to book on for then.

Next week’s class theme: Grounding

Thank you all for being part of this wonderful journey with me. I hope you have a lovely Easter weekend! I’m heading up to Norfolk to stay with my parents - can’t wait for beach walks and some chocolate after Lent!

Wishing you joy, relaxation, and lots of chocolate on Easter Sunday.

Scroll down and subscribe to the blog/newsletter for more yoga-related content.

See you on the mat next week,

Eloise x
